Whiskey (bourbon or rye) : 60 ml
Fresh lemon juice : 30 ml
Simple syrup : 15 ml
Egg white : null ~20 ml (optional for froth)
Garnish :Lemon twist and/or cherry

Glassware :Chilled coupe or rocks glass (if served over ice)
Add 60 ml whiskey, 30 ml fresh lemon juice, 15 ml simple syrup and egg white (if using) to a shaker.
Dry-shake (no ice) vigorously for 12–15 seconds to build foam if using egg white.
Add ice and shake again for 8–12 seconds until chilled.
Double-strain into a chilled coupe for a neat presentation or into a rocks glass with ice for a longer serve.
Garnish with a lemon twist and/or a cherry.
Serve — bright, balanced and silky when egg white is included.
