Aged or dark rum : 30 ml
Orange curaçao : 15 ml
Orgeat syrup : 15 ml
Fresh lime juice : 22.5 ml
Simple syrup : 5–10 ml optional, to taste
Garnish :Mint sprig, lime wheel and/or pineapple leaf

Glassware :Old-fashioned rocks glass (crushed ice)
Fill a shaker with ice and add 30 ml white rum, 30 ml aged rum, 15 ml orange curaçao, 15 ml orgeat and 22.5 ml fresh lime juice.
Add 5–10 ml simple syrup only if you need extra sweetness.
Shake vigorously for 8–12 seconds to chill and combine.
Strain over crushed ice into an old-fashioned glass.
Garnish with a mint sprig (slap it for aroma), a lime wheel and/or a pineapple leaf.
Serve immediately — nutty, citrusy and layered rum character.
