Licor 43 (or other coffee liqueur/spiced liqueur) : 45 ml
Fresh espresso : 30 ml hot) — or cold espresso for an iced version

Glassware :Rocks glass (for iced over ice) or small tumbler shot glass (hot)
Pull a fresh 30 ml shot of espresso and decide whether to serve hot or over ice.
Pour 45 ml Licor 43 into the serving glass.
3a. For a hot Carajillo: pour the hot espresso over the liqueur, stir once, garnish with a coffee bean and serve warm.
3b. For an iced Carajillo: fill the glass with ice, pour the Licor 43, then add the cooled espresso and stir gently.
Taste and adjust the espresso/liqueur ratio to preference.
Garnish with a coffee bean or a thin lemon twist for brightness.
Serve — sweet, aromatic and a great after-dinner pick-me-up.
